Philip used to perform at the Maryland Renaissance Festival as a juggler, sword swallower, and fire eater when he was younger. He is a licensed pilot, sky diver, scuba instructor, holds multiple fire fighting certifications including Fire Officer III, Rescue Specialist, Swiftwater Rescue, Public Safety Dive Instructor, and more. Having attended Loyola Middle and High School, he embodies Jesuit education where St. Ignatius taught what it means to be a "Man for Others." He believes everyone in Baltimore County should have a voice and be heard.

In the words of St. Ignatius to St. Xavier, Philip will “Go forth and set the world on fire.”
